The service

ReelWords offers tools for retrieving transcripts from accessible video sources, editing captions, rendering videos, and automating jobs through an API or MCP server. Features, limits, supported sources, and prices are described on the site and may change as the product develops.

Access to a third-party video can fail because of permissions, deletion, geographic restrictions, platform changes, DRM, or technical conditions. Transcript and caption accuracy varies with the source audio and processing method. Review outputs before publishing or relying on them.

Your account and API keys

Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials and API keys secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for promptly telling us about suspected unauthorised access. Do not share a private API key publicly.

You may use the service only in accordance with applicable law and these terms. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or others, and will provide notice where practical.

Your content and permissions

You keep any rights you have in videos, uploads, transcripts, captions, and other content you submit or create. You give ReelWords and its service providers the permission needed to host, access, process, transmit, and display that content to provide the features you request.

Only submit or process material you own, license, or are otherwise authorised to use. You are responsible for any permissions, notices, or consents required for people, voices, images, music, and other protected material in your content. Do not use ReelWords to bypass access controls or a third-party platform’s restrictions.

Acceptable use

Do not use ReelWords to violate rights or laws, process unlawful or harmful material, interfere with the service, probe or circumvent security controls, scrape other users’ data, or overload our systems. Do not represent an unreviewed transcript as an exact record for a legal, medical, or other high-stakes purpose.

Plans, subscriptions, and credits

The pricing page and checkout show the current plan, billing interval, included usage, and any credit pack price before purchase. Paid subscriptions may renew until cancelled. You can manage billing through the account controls or contact support if you need help.

Usage limits and credit rules shown in the product apply to jobs started through the website, API, and MCP server. Taxes, refunds, cancellation timing, and any mandatory rights depend on the checkout terms and applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Third-party services

ReelWords relies on third-party platforms and processors for authentication, storage, payments, email, analytics, and media or AI processing. Your use of a third-party video source remains subject to that platform’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party content or for a source becoming unavailable.

Availability and changes

We aim to operate the service reliably, but do not promise uninterrupted access or that every video can be processed. We may change features, limits, or these terms. If a change materially affects paid use, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected users before it takes effect.

Liability and consumer rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ReelWords is not responsible for losses caused by content you were not authorised to process, inaccurate unreviewed output, or a third-party source or service becoming unavailable. This clause does not exclude, restrict, or modify consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending use

You may stop using ReelWords at any time. Contact support for help with account closure and data requests. We may suspend or close an account for a serious breach of these terms, misuse, or security risk, subject to applicable law and any required notice.
